Twins dance on Mother Earth’s cheek

I was walking along a couple of roads,
one turned to the sea, the wave, the water, the tide …
one sloped to the mountain, the scree, the rock, the peak …
I followed a breath like a hunter.
There were distractions,
high like eagles,
busy like bees,
imaginations
like sugar,
addictions,
paradise,
a sweet-shop shining
scent of fish
nectar,
pollen,
ice.

and twins to twins

blackbirds sang
As hurricane winds blasted
and tree trunks fell
wood beetles sang
As mayflies starved and died
exhausted swarms collapsed
hover of trout smiled
As meteor crashed to Earth
the sun went black
jellyfish smiled
As serfs and slaves revolted
blue blood was spilt
beheaders sang
As Job tasted pestilence
a hunger reigned
Almighty sang
As foetus died stillborn death
a mother wept
a hope was born.
