Pick up thy pen
and run
fingers over paper.
Feel the lines,
they crave your attention.
They deserve your touch.
They will suck the ink from your nib.
I promise
you will come
on the page
and wonder
‘How was that for you’.

What wonderful thoughts Robert. I’ll return to them many times. Thank you very much

My first thought is: such naughty lines. My second thought is: As a last resort, the muse is pimping the page. My third thought is: It might be safer to use a condom when putting pen to paper. There would be no risk of spreading disease, but also, no chance of fertility. My fourth thought is: Given an exhortation like this, is there anyone who could resist putting 🖊 pen to 📝 paper. And my fifth thought is: I think Alimoon would be very interested in this.
I think it is a very memorable poem.
Now… Where, can I remember, have I been keeping my pen?
